Charlotte Wire and Cable was begun in 1993 and is a specialty electrical wire and cable distributor that sells exclusively to electrical distributors. The competitive nature of the industry and the fast pace of the job rewards a good knowledge of market conditions, strong communication skills, relationship building with customers, and a good work ethic.
Maintaining a list of customer accounts through quoting and landing business. Salesperson will build relationships with customers in order to gain opportunities to provide technical information, trouble-shoot customer problems/challenges, and negotiate sales.
Must gain strong knowledge of the products of the specialty wire and cable industry. Also must continue to stay current with trends in the industry. Strong organizational skills are required to maintain customer contact, plan sales strategy, generate timely quotations, monitor quotes, and close the sale. Strong verbal communication skills are required to generate and maintain customer relationships, utilize vendor relationships, and working as a team player in interoffice situations. Friendliness, self-confidence, and perseverance are also necessary in the position.

Our warehouse operations are critical to maintaining efficient inventory management and ensuring timely delivery of specialty wire and cable products to our customers.
Receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming inventory according to company procedures. Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting cycle count activities. Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts and other material handling equipment. Supporting loading and unloading activities for delivery trucks and coordinating with logistics team.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and order fulfillment. Reliable work ethic with consistent punctuality and attendance. Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Basic computer skills for inventory management systems. Forklift certification preferred but training can be provided. Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial but not required.
